A systematic daily read on the market — and an honest account of what it is.
Entry Point Trading scores 568 tickers every morning before the open and publishes what the process saw, in the same format, every single day. This page is the longer version: what it is, how it works, who it is for, and where it honestly stands today.
What this is
A daily, rules-based reading of a fixed universe — the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, and a set of sector, country and thematic ETFs. Every morning the same process runs over the same names and produces the same artifacts: rankings, exit alerts, macro and options-flow context, and a written read on the regime.
The point is not a hot tip. The point is that the process does not change its mind because the tape was ugly yesterday, and that you can see the whole of it — including the parts that went against us.
How it works
- One universe, scored daily. 568 tickers, refreshed before the open. The universe is computed from the index constituents, not maintained by hand.
- The same output shape every day. Rankings, exits, macro context, and the daily read. Consistency is the product — a dashboard that looks different every morning cannot be compared to itself.
- Delayed data is free, live data is paid. The free preview shows the real dashboard on last month's data, plus one ticker live. Nothing is mocked up.
- Closed readings are published in full. Every reading that closes goes into the ledger, unfiltered — the ones that worked and the ones that did not.
Who it is for
- Self-directed traders and investors who already make their own decisions and want a consistent second read rather than someone else's conviction.
- People who would rather see a process they can audit than a track record they have to take on faith.
- People who value showing up daily. If you check in twice a month, the free newsletter is the honest recommendation.
It is not for anyone looking to be told what to buy, and it is not a managed account, a signal group, or a substitute for your own judgment.
The honest status
- This is a beta product and we say so. It is being built in the open and it changes week to week.
- We say which parts are unfinished. Where a part of the process is not where we want it, we do not dress it up as finished — the beta label is literal.
- We publish no performance claims — not a win rate, not a return, not a backtest. Not on this page, not in the emails, not in the app. When the live record earns a claim, the record will be the claim.
- There is no track record page — and we will not fake one. People search for ours; this is the answer. The live record has not earned a claim yet, so we publish none, and we would rather say that plainly than show you a number we picked. When it earns one we will publish the closed readings in full — losers included — and the record itself will be the claim.
- This is research and decision-support, not investment advice. You place every trade; you own every outcome.
